Titanium Window Tint
uses sputtering technology (advanced metallizing) for window tinting.
Metallized glass reject
heat by reflecting it before it can be transferred through the glass.
This kind of tint offers great privacy for cars or houses.
Sputtering Technology.
Sputtering is done in vacuum chamber. Metallizing coating is achieved
at the atomic level. In brief, electromagnetic field direct streams
of ions from chemically inert gas (argon) toward the metal. This ion
bombardment, which is often described as “atomic billiards”,
causes group of atoms to dislodge in small bursts and scatter
uniformly across the glass.
Different metals are
chosen to subtract specific bands of radiation from the solar
spectrum.
Metallic coated glass
control radiation through reflectivity.
We use Titanium. The
result is a highly reflective layer with little mirror effect and
great privacy.
This technology was imported from Ukraine to South Africa in 1998 and has been highly successful.
